We understand your reluctance because we have several recovering ‘dental-phobics’ on our team and will do everything we can to make your visit easier for you.

Sedation
For those of us that need a little more than hand holding and a calm voice, we offer oral conscious sedation. OCS is an extremely safe and reliable way for the apprehensive patient to have dental work done. Unlike general anesthesia, which requires needles and IV’s, OCS is accomplished simply by administering a pill. During sedation you will be extremely drowsy, but never be completely unconscious, which would require maintaining an airway. You will have less post operative discomfort and, best of all, little to no memory of the procedure at all.  OCS is awesome!
